WALKER

Living in many different places in my life, I engage different locations as the stage set
and myself as a performer on the stage, searching for new memories. The chronicle of
being at different places reflects how I have become myself today. The performance captured in my work is the result of experiences in these new settings. I make photographs of myself performing to create images of loss and searching for identity and retrieving memories from the past and future.

In this work, walker, the shadows of myself shot at various locations in Austin will be left at that place as a souvenir of my performance as a new memory maker. Audiences are invited to take a journey as a performer on each stage set, making new memories as they find the souvenir left behind by another performer.
