Describe what you found: : i found a clear red plexiglass keychain inscribed with It was once a Privelege. there was one locker or padlock key on it.

Where did you find it? : 12th Street and Waller, on the hillside

What were your first impressions of it? : it survived the 3-day monsoon! it felt like the second step in a game, a movie moment but the key wasnt going to work. privelege was no good here.

Has it changed since you took it home? How? : keeping it buried among the items on my desk, it finds me at least once a day. revisiting this keychain makes me think about ownership and value, and the way that art can be a faciliatotor for community action and activism.

Please share any other comments: : i first went to a location with 8 works and combed that location for a full hour in search of artworks. i didnt find any in that location. i then moved on to 12th and Waller. i found three, took one.

What were your first impressions of it? : M:Weird enough to be intentional. We werent sure, because the piece is unmarked. The shape and the glint of the metal made me think it was what I was looking for. Hard as fuck to find, really. It was stuck in the trunk.
