At a payphone, on the west side of second avenue - just below 14th street (outside where Dan Lynch blues bar used to be) I called my girlfriend from a payphone extremely drunk late one night. She was living with her parents and when I called, her dad picked up, I tried to ask for her but I was too drunk to make a complete sentence, so I said "ah, wrong number" and hung up the phone. The next day, my girlfriend told me her dad was very worried about me.
